ROSARY--
The Rosary was created as a structured form of worship to Mary and Jesus. It was created by St. Dominic in the 13th Century
FISHERMAN'S RING--
Each pope wears the ring. On his death the ring is destroyed. The ring has a picture of St Peter (first pope) in a boat fishing with the pope's name on it. Once used to seal papal documents.
CHI RHO--First two letters of Christ's name in Greek. Found on priest's vestments
DOVE--International symbol of peace. Believed to have landed on Jesus' shoulder during his baptism by John in the River Jordan.
CHRISTIANITY FISH (JESUS FISH)--Represents the Apostles and Jesus as fishers of men. Represents the miraculous catch of fish from Luke 5. Served as a secret sign during the Roman Empire's persecution of Christians.
EUCHARIST--It is the body of Christ given to us at the Last Supper. Reminds us of JC's sacrifice for us. The bread becoming the body is a spiritual change referred to as TRANSUBSTANTIATION.
